Matt Watson – Geophysicist / Director
Matt has over 25 years of experience as a consultant geophysicist based in New Zealand. His work has also taken him to SE Asia, the Pacific Islands, and from the Aleutian Islands to Antarctica. His main expertise is in geophysical measurements to assist in geotechnical investigation projects, 3D Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) imaging, high resolution scanning of structures (tunnels/bridges), contaminated site assessment, shallow marine geophysics and archaeology. He has also been involved in many of the key NZ infrastructure projects over the last 25 years, including road / bridge projects, geothermal power stations, hydro dams and tunnels. Matt also has extensive experience in using geophysical techniques on glaciers, assisting with many glaciological and climate research projects in NZ and Antarctica.
